All too often furniture (component racks and seating) are a forgotten component of a home theater system, yet it can have enormous repercussions on your comfort, design, video and acoustics.

Important theater seating considerations include:

* Comfort - remember you will be sitting in these seats for 90 minutes to four hours at a time.

* Design - do they match the surroundings or will they look out of place.

* Video - light seats (white/tan) can reflect light and reduce the contrast of your video.

* Acoustics - seats with high headrests can block the direct rear channel sound from reaching your ears
